Jenifer Wieland
Co-Owner
As a former member of the AmeriCorps, dedicating her time to making a difference for kids at Menomonie Middle School as their Afterschool Program Director. Jenifer's passion for working with kids has continued to this day. She started coaching at the age of 13 and has sinced coached cheerleading, gymnastics, and track and field at the youth, high school, and collegiate level.
Jenifer began her athletic career on the Show Team at Kathy's Gymnastics as a child then went on to both participate and coach the cheerleaders of the Springfield, IL Junior Football League in her hometown.
Jenifer cheered for her high school team and was captain her senior year before moving on to cheer for her college team at Lewis University in Romeoville, IL where she was captain all four years.
While attending college Jenifer earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management with a Minor in Coaching, received All American Honors for the National Cheerleaders Federation and became a 3 time NCAA All American in the Long Jump for her college track and field team.
During her summers in college, Jenifer worked for the American Cheerleading Federation teaching cheerleading camps to middle schools, high school, and college teams throughout the United States. She also interned for the Super Cheer and Dance Association her senior year.
Upon graduation, Jenifer attend Loras College in Dubuque, IA where she served as a graduate assistant for their track and field team and started and coached their cheerleading program. She earned her Master's degree in Athletic Administration with an emphasis in Physical Education.
After Jenifer finished school she cheered for the Springfield Stallions arena football team while coaching for an all star cheerleading program and serving as the pre-school gymnastics director at a local gym. She then took a job at UW-Stout in Menomonie, WI as an assistant track and field coach/cheer and dance advisor/strength and conditioning coach/physical education instructor.
Additionally, Jenifer served as a board member of the Wisconsin Association of Cheer and Pom Coaches and holds certifications in AACCA spirit safety, USA Track and Field Level 1 and 1st aid & CPR, Safesport and is credentialed throught the USASF.

Amy LaVelle

Amy is currently the head cheer & stunt coach of the University Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She grew up all over the world through the military, but cheered through high school and college in the Rome/Syracuse, NY area.
After college she moved to Bitburg, Germany where she was a Dodds military high school teacher, and the head cheer coach. She also coached the base youth center and cheered herself for an USAFE team all over Europe.
After living in Germany she moved to Navarre, FL. There she changed careers into the dental field, but kept her love of coaching cheerleaders. She coached Jr teams at a Youth Sports Association and was on the Board of Directors for this Association. She was head preschool gymnastic instructor & head cheer coach of Navarre's United All-Star gym. During that time she choreographed competition routines and trained many coaches for numerous youth, high school, and all star programs.
Amy currently lives in Eau Claire, WI where she has coached at 2 local high schools. She is also certified in CPR/First Aid and on the Wisconsin Association of Cheer/Pom Coaches(WACPC) board of directors since 2008.
She is married and has 4 children. When not working or spending time with her family she is very involved in the education of cheer/dance coaches and athletes for the state of WI.
Amy likes making a positive difference for all athletes and is proud to be a part of an organization that was nominated for one of the best leadership programs in the nation.She is honored to direct both the UWEC cheer and stunt program. She holds a National Cheer Judge Certification and is NFHS/AACCA safety certified and USASF credentialed.Amy is excited to use her knowledge of training athletes and coaches through Exceptional Athletics!!
Aleisha Lutzen
Assistant Director
Former owner of EXA-Nebraska, Aleisha moved back to Eau Claire with her husband and daughter. Aleisha cheered at Eau Claire North H.S. and UW - Eau Claire.
Aleisha is the current Assistant Director at EXA. She is also responsible for all EXA ordering.
